|So, I have noticed I haven't submitted anything in a while. And this is the best thing I've done.|
Doctor Who and the Universal SeasThe Doctor smiled, pulling levers and flicking switches. His eyes darted around the console, as he pulled the screen around to examine its vivid display of strange, circular symbols and angular emblems. He grasped a lever firmly, and almost yanked it off the console, as he threw it into place, bringing the room to life, as the central column began to rise and fall, while the lights dimmed and brightened over and over again. Claire and Jason gazed in amazement at the time machine and this bizarre man, watching them work in perfect unison together, like an old married couple. They watched in silence, as if they were entities merely watching events from an astral plane, unbeknownst to this traveller and his transport device.Doctor Who and the Universal Seas by KandorsKnight

I ran through the dense undergrowth, my dark, long hair being blown back through the wind, morphing into wavy black streaks across my head. The Sun pierced the greenery, casting radiant beams of golden light onto the bugs and animals that stalked the ground. The clan mother had given me strict instructions to not stay away from the camp after nightfall, but the Sun was only just beginning to sink behind the horizon, so I still had plenty of time to enjoy myself.
Sprinting through the shrubbery, I grabbed onto the trunk of a tree and swung around it, before digging the soles of my bare feet into the wet mud, which slowly stopped me in my tracks. A loud bang shook the ground I treaded on. It was a most bizarre sound; alien in this world of natural serenity. I collapsed to the floor in a heap, the mud splashing into my face as I sunk down to the level of the pigs and their troughs. Now, I was d
I've noticed I've been gone a hell of a long time. But things have kind of got in the way. Life tends to do that. But it gives me a chance to bore you all to death (if anyone pays attention anymore after my four/five month absence) with updates on life and stuff.
Well, I finished my first year of exams in my secondary school. It was tough. Incredibly so. That was back in March and June. Revision for said exams was tough. Exasperating, even. But since then, I've joined a drama group! It's a local group, but I've already put on a show and gotten a taste of the life I want to lead for the rest of my years on this planet. I thought writing and teaching would be my dream goals, but it turns out spouting Shakespearean monologues and comedic one-liners to an audience of locals sick of their week so far is my aspiration for my life. So drama schools and colleges have become a target of mine. Fasten your seatbelts, professors.
On top of that, I haven't been drawing and writing much. I mean, I've done little sketches here and there, but nothing quite as massive as they should be. When it comes to writing, I wrote the first two chapters of a novel I was hoping to continue, gave them to my English teacher in manuscript format, and then put them away and haven't looked at the Word document since. The latest thing I've written is a fanfic with my own Doctor (with hair like Loki in Avengers Assemble. I know).
Well, I said that the last time and it never happened, so don't get your hopes up.
